FAQ
Painting questions, answered.
Do you provide free estimates?+
Yes - every estimate is free and on-site. You get a written scope listing the rooms or elevations, the prep included, the products, and the price.
How much prep is included?+
All of it. Patching, sanding, caulking, and priming happen before a finish coat goes on. Prep is the majority of the labor on a proper paint job.
What paints do you use?+
Premium Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore products, chosen for the surface. Scrubbable finishes in kitchens and baths, flat ceiling paint that hides imperfections, and exterior coatings matched to your siding.
How long will my project take?+
A single room is typically one day. A full 3-bedroom interior runs 3–5 days, and an average exterior takes 4–7 days weather permitting.
Will you protect my furniture and floors?+
Yes. Furniture is moved and covered, trim and fixtures are masked, and every floor gets drop-clothed. We put everything back where it was.
Do you help with color selection?+
Yes. We bring fan decks and samples and will roll test patches on your actual walls so you can judge them in your own lighting.
When can you paint my exterior in NJ?+
April through October. We need surface temperatures above 50°F and a dry window for the coating to cure properly.
Do you do commercial work?+
Yes - offices, retail, restaurants, medical suites, and multi-unit turnovers, scheduled nights and weekends so we don't interrupt your business.
Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes - fully licensed and insured in New Jersey, with a certificate of insurance available on request.
What areas do you serve?+
Matawan, Aberdeen, Old Bridge, Hazlet, Holmdel, Keyport, Middletown, Marlboro, Manalapan, Freehold, Red Bank, Sayreville, South Amboy, Morganville, Keansburg, and surrounding Central NJ towns.
